“Science fiction is the most important literature in the history of the world, because it’s the history of ideas, the history of our civilization birthing itself. …Science fiction is central to everything we’ve ever done, and people who make fun of science fiction writers don’t know what they’re talking about.” ― Ray Bradbury
“Here’s a quick rule of thumb” Don’t annoy science fiction writers. These are people who destroy entire planets before lunch. Think of what they’ll do to you.”― John Scalzi
These are the books I have read and reviewed. I really like doing this. Notice that I mostly read science fiction, and in that military science fiction is my favorite.
If you would like me to read and review your book, just email me at firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com and provide a short synopsis. I’m sure I’ll be honored that you asked me to do so. I post reviews on Amazon and Goodreads as well as here on my blog.
I’ve always been fascinated by science fiction, starting at a very young age. Although I can’t really remember when I read my first science fiction book, I believe it was some where around my 7th grade year, when I was about 12. That book, “Tunnel in the Sky” by Robert A. Heinlein was an eye-opener for me! I could not stop reading science fiction books from that day on.
Now, fifty-four years into my future, I still read science fiction books with the same passion. They are fascinating and, I think, always be.
The only thing certain about our future is that it’s unknown. But, science fiction authors give us a glimpse of what it might be, or could be. They also show us what we don’t want it to be and how badly things could turn out. That’s the beauty in science fiction — it’s anything science fiction authors want it to be.
To readers, keep reading as much as you can. With science fiction, you can go any where and be anybody or thing. Science fiction keeps your mind active and helps you think beyond what it currently possible.
To writers, you got the hardest job, but keep it up! There are those of us who desperately need your writing. I hope your books are in my future!
